The Tangle TaleZ Story
In the vibrant city of Bangalore, 2019, Sunali and Sweta, crossed paths at an intimate gathering of Indian CZTs (Certified Zentangle Teachers). Amidst shared stories, a spark of connection lit between both of them and, they dreamt of creating a larger platform—one that would unite CZTs and passionate tanglers alike to celebrate the meditative beauty of Zentangle. The bustling city of Mumbai was to be their canvas. But just as their vision began to bloom, the world stilled with the onset of the pandemic in March 2020. Their dreams, though momentarily paused, remained alive, tucked safely in their hearts.
Time, like a river, flowed onward. Life’s currents carried them in different directions until their paths converged once more in August 2023. By then, Zentangle had flourished, gaining recognition as a cherished global art form. The embers of their earlier dreams reignited, glowing brighter than ever, and this time, they resolved to dream bigger.
In September 2024, their vision took flight in the dazzling city of Dubai, where the inaugural Tangle TaleZ International Zentangle Retreat unfolded—a gathering unlike any other, where creativity met tranquility amidst the shimmering sands. Its resounding success was a testament to the power of community and the shared love for this transformative art.
Spurred by the joy and inspiration the retreat sparked, Sunali and Sweta decided to make Tangle TaleZ an annual tradition—a beacon of artistic connection that would light up hearts across the globe, year after year. Thus, their story continues, one stroke at a time, weaving a legacy of mindfulness, artistry, and unity.
